
Beverly Lumbres Caimen, born on the 20th of June, 1994, also called Beverly, is a Filipino pop singer based in Japan under Avex Trax. She is famous for her many appearances on soundtracks, like "Be the One" in Kamen Rider Build and "Koko" in Pokemon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle. Beverly Caimen, the third of three children to Ramon Vega Caimen, Leticia Valdez Lumbres and Leticia Caimen was born on June 20, 1994 in Calamba (Laguna, Philippines). She was the youngest of three siblings, with a brother and two sisters. Beverly began singing at age five when her mother took Beverly to school. She realized she was gifted and she could sing. She joined her school's choir at 7 years old and began voice lessons at the age of 9 when her mother discovered time. At the age of 10, she participated in her first singing contest. It didn't go as well. Her mother advised her to continue, as she felt she was in need of more knowledge. Batangas State University gave her the opportunity to earn a B.S. in Psychology. Beverly began singing in amateur competitions to fulfill her passions. She took first place in the World Championships of Performing Arts, where she recorded songs under GMA Records and worked with composer Vehnee Saturno. At this time, she released her first and only album with GMA, Beverly Caimen. Beverly was nominated in the Best Performance at the Awit Awards and received the Harvest of Honors award of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. She was also awarded the A Song of Praise Music Festival year-long award for the Best Performance.
