Paula Patton, an American actor and producer, is well-known for her role as the main character in Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol (an action spy thriller) as well as Precious (a drama). The majority of her childhood was lived at Los Angeles where she came from a middle class family. Her parents were a loving mom who loved watching movies. Paula was involved in a variety of co-curricular activities in school however she showed an interest in drama. Paula enjoyed acting with her friends and was a part of school stage performances. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School staged a variety of plays, and the actress decided that acting was her preferred career. She was enrolled in the University of Southern California's summer program, and enjoyed it immensely. The program awarded her a 3-month contract making documentaries for PBS. She started her career as a production assistant for TV when she completed this assignment. Then, she switched to the production of documentaries. But she still had a desire to become an actress, even though she was happy with her current job. Her first acting gig came through a role as a support in the romantic comedy of Will Smith Hitch. In the years since, she has been on many TV and film programs.
