Mike Towers was changed to Myke Towers in the year 2017 in honor of the Young Kingz movement, which is a part of. In this name change He replaced the letter I by the letter y. Myke Towers has been part of the underground rap scene in Puerto Rico since his adolescence publishing his first compositions and freestyles via the SoundCloud account. The artist gained fame in 2014 by releasing songs like Dia de cobro Por Mi Es Normal and En los Bloques. He also drew attention from the urban music scene through the performance of the freestyle La Nueva Droga and his rendition of the track, from the band Drake.
