Walker graduated from Germantown Friends School situated in the city of Philadelphia's Germantown district in the year 1994. She then went on to Harvard College where she earned an Associate of Arts degree in 1998. Welker, married to John Hughes of Merck Philadelphia in Philadelphia is the mother of two. They began having an affair. John was her husband and is four years older than her. They were enjoying their relationship, so they decided to keep their friendship going.
